How to Flash Stock Rom on Redmi Note 4 using Mi Flash Tool (Fastboot Method)

The best thing about any Xiaomi device is that you can flash stock firmware or MIUI 10 on your devices if you have accidentally put it under bootloop or if you want to switch back to MIUI from any other custom Rom. The Flash files are available to download on official website of Xiaomi and anyone can flash with the help of PC.



Follow this guide to know how to flash Stock Rom on Redmi Note 4 or any Xiaomi Device using Fastboot method -

Note :

• This method requires Bootloader to be unlocked.
• Please Backup your all data before you proceed further.
• Battery must above 50% Charged.

Guide to Install MIUI Rom using MiFlash Tool (Fastboot method)

1. Download the latest version of Rom/Firmware From here - Download
2. Look for the 'Redmi Note 4X Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download' and download it or you can change according to your device.
3. The file will be in .tgz format.
4. Extract the .tgz file and you will get a .tar file. Extract it again, you will get a folder.
5. Now Copy the folder to C Drive.
   
   


6. Since, it's a fastboot method you need to boot your phone into fastboot mode. To do so, turn off your device -> Press and Hold Volume down and Power Button simultaneously -> Fastboot logo should appear.
   
   


7. Connect your device to PC using USB cable.
8. Next, Download the Mi Flash tool from here -  Download
9. Install MiFlash tool on your PC and complete the installation process.
10. Open Mi Flash Tool from Desktop.
    
    


11. Click on refresh button and your device should appear here.
    
    


12. Now click select button and select the folder which we have extracted in our C drive.
    
    


13. At the bottom of Mi Flash tool you will see 3 options, select Clean all. You can also select 2 other options depending upon your requirement.
    
    


14. Once all done, Click on Flash button to start the process.
    
    


15. The Process will take around 5 minutes to complete. You will get a Success massage in result column.
16. Now you can remove your device and will boot automatically.

This method is really good for installing stock firmware or if you want latest update on your device, you can also use it. One of the major benefit you will get is that, you can install Global beta version of the MIUI Rom using same procedure. Just Download the Global beta version of the Rom instead of Global stable version.
